Para o dossiê: Exogamia, sexualidade & religião, pedimos o envio de textos focalizados em elementos fundamentais da vida coletiva, da constituição de comunidades, corpos e relações, o que vai desde as normas escritas nos livros sagrados, a moral e as práticas cotidianas até os aspectos figurativos da relação com a divindade: a importância da relação sexual, marital, procriativa, seminal, de casamento, de parentesco ou de irmandade para a constituição das “eclésias” humanas e além. Assunto chave da antropologia, sobretudo da antropologia estrutural, a partir da contribuição clássica de Claude Lévi-Strauss em As estruturas elementares do parentesco, o tema perpassa campos tão díspares quanto a psicanálise – sendo Freud um dos autores com quem a obra lévi-straussiana dialogaria – e o direito, chegando a questões políticas contemporâneas, como as “novas” formas de casamento. Encarar assuntos como sexualidade, tabu do incesto, constituição da pessoa e seu corpo, relações de aliança e parentesco constituídas através a Igreja e da religião e seus elementos políticos constitui um interessante exercício libertário. Acredita-se que o tema propicie discussões abrangentes de interesse científico, filosófico, teológico e político.

We invite you to join us and collaborate with our online magazine. The deadline to submit papers is 31st October. To do so, please email them to the e-mail address of the magazine. In this issue (n.2 – 2nd semester 2010) we will be having a dossier: Exogamy, Sexuality & Religion. However, submitted papers for the free section will be welcomed as well. For further information see also the editorial policy followed by the magazine in the Call for Papers.
For the dossier Exogamy, Sexuality & Religion, we ask you to submit papers focused on elements of collective life, the formation of communities, bodies and relationships, ranging from the principles written in holy books, morals and everyday practices even the figurative aspects of the relationship with the divinity: the importance of sex, marital, procreative, seminal, marriage, kinship or brotherhood for the establishment of “ecclesia” humanities and beyond. Key issue in anthropology, particularly structural anthropology, getting started from the classic contributions made in Claude Lévi-Strauss’s Les Structures élémentaires de la parenté [The Elementary Structures of Kinship], the topic goes further through fields as disparate as psychoanalysis – being Freud one of the authors with whom the Lévi-Strauss’ work would dialogue – and right, up to contemporary political issues such as the “new” forms of marriage. Facing up issues like sexuality, incest taboo, the constitution of the person and his body, and kinship relations of alliance formed by the Church and of religion and its political elements is an interesting libertarian exercise. It is believed that the topic brings up comprehensive discussions in the scope of scientific, philosophical, theological and political matters.
